PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The UMI adjustable upper a-arm mount is a direct replacement for the original GM mount, with several key improvements. These mounts are designed with a unique fabricated construction that provides strength without adding extra weight. Unlike the factory GM mount, which had a bowl-shaped plate that trapped water and caused rust, UMI's mounts allow for easy drainage to help extend the life of the front shocks.
Additionally, UMI's mounts come with multiple upper a-arm adjustment holes, allowing for precise tuning of the vehicle's front suspension. By raising or lowering the mounting point, users can adjust the front roll center height, which can improve responsiveness and camber gain for better cornering performance. For street and drag applications, the center hole maintains the factory location of the a-arm.
Fitment Note: Factory upper a-arms may not fit into the upper adjustment hole. UMI upper a-arms can utilize all adjustment holes.
