Testing and Design: The Key to Success
At UMI Performance, we’re always looking for exciting opportunities to broaden our product lineup. Last year, we made a thrilling decision to venture into a category we had never explored before: F-150 trucks.
To ensure we deliver top-quality products, our engineering team needed several different years of F-150 trucks for thorough test fitting and design. This is where our good friend Chris Howell stepped in. Chris generously offered his 2023 Ford FP 700 as one of the first F-150s to be outfitted with UMI Performance products. A huge thank you to Chris for being a vital part of this journey!

Race-Testing at UMI Motorsports Park
Chris brought his UMI-Equipped F-150 to the UMI Motorsports Park for our Autocross Challenge Event. This is an essential part of our process at UMI Performance; we believe in race-testing all our products before they hit the market.
The Autocross Challenge provided an excellent opportunity for us to see how our products perform under real racing conditions. Chris’s truck was put through its paces, allowing our engineers to gather valuable data and feedback. Chris was able to make it all the way to the competition’s shootout, coming third in his class with other UMI Equipped Trucks!

UMI Performance's Newest Line
A couple of months after the Autocross Challenge, we successfully launched our new product line. To celebrate this achievement, we featured several F-150 displays at PRI to showcase our latest venture. To assist us, Chris Howell’s 2023 F-150 was displayed at the UMI Performance booth.
