UMI’s 1973 Firebird Formula 400 is a real head-turner. The highly optioned platform features a 400 ci Pontiac powerplant along with factory air conditioning, awesome gauge package and cold air induction. The handling is top notch of course, as the ’73 features our Stage 2 handling package with improved springs rates, shocks, sway bar rates, additional caster and more. It rides on Forgeline FF3’s and Baer Brakes haul it down much better than the factory units. All in all, the ’73 is a popular cruiser in the UMI stable and a great example of mid-year muscle with some much needed handling upgrades.
