240131 – 1982-1992 GM F-Body Tubular K-Member & A-Arm Package, Factory Springs

Increase your vehicle's performance with UMI's direct bolt-in replacement K-member and lower a-arm kit. This kit instantly removes 25 lbs of front end weight, allowing your existing horsepower to work more efficiently. The strong dual tube construction and high-strength features of the P/N 240131 ensure durability for street use, drag strip blasts, and autocross action. The K-member is made from CNC machined 3/16” thick mild steel with a strong dual tube lower section. It features precision machined mounting pads for factory clamshell and engine mounts, as well as strong boxed mounting points for both factory and aftermarket suspension. The tubular construction provides added clearance for aftermarket exhaust and allows for use of stock spring and strut. The lower a-arms have TIG welded tubular construction, adjustable steering stops, and polyurethane bushings. This kit has been tested on our ’89 IROC test car and proven to be a reliable upgrade for high performance vehicles. The LSX motor mount option includes fabricated motor mounts to attach any LSX motor to your new UMI K-member.
