UMI’s 3060-1 bump steer kit aims to reduce or eliminate toe change during suspension travel, commonly referred to as “bump steer.” This improvement enhances handling, straight-line stability, and the overall precision of the steering system. The kit includes a heavy-duty 5/8″ bolt for the outer tie rod stud, providing increased strength compared to the factory tapered design. The adjuster is constructed from lightweight 6061-T6 Aluminum hex and features a hard anodized protective finish. Shims of 0.125”, 0.1875”, and 0.250” are included. These race-tested bump steer kits are fully designed and manufactured with pride in Philipsburg, PA, USA. For specific models (1978-1988 G Body, 1982-1995 S10, 1982-1992 F Body, and 1964-1970 A Body), please use the specified inner tie rods as replacements if needed. The UMI bump steer kit features a Grade 8; 5/8-18 outer tie rod bolt, a race-quality rod end, jam nuts, and locking hardware. Additionally, it includes laser-cut spacers of 0.125”, 0.1875”, and 0.250”, a 6061-T6 Black Anodized Aluminum Adjuster Sleeve with 5/8-18 RH and LH threads, and a sleeve length of 9.20”. Our Sales team will either authorize or deny the request for return at its discretion. Any product returned without an issued RMA number will not be credited. All returns must be made within 30 days of delivery, be in new condition, be in original sealed packaging and include the RMA number on the outside of the packaging. No exceptions. All products and their packaging must be in new and unopened condition. Products that have been altered, installed, or modified are not returnable. All shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the customer.
