2660-1 – 1972-1981 GM F-Body Bump Steer Adjuster Kit, Front, HD Race

UMI’s 2660-1 2nd gen F-body bump steer kit is designed to reduce or eliminate toe change during suspension travel (bump steer). By minimizing bump steer, this kit improves handling and straight-line stability, enhancing the overall precision of the steering system. It includes a heavy-duty 5/8″ bolt for the outer tie rod stud, providing increased strength over the factory tapered design. The adjuster is made from 6061-T6 aluminum hex for lightweight strength and features a hard anodized protective finish. The kit comes with shims of 0.125”, 0.1875”, and 0.250”. Please note that spindle drilling is required to accommodate the 5/8" adjustment bolt. Once drilled, the spindle cannot be returned to its factory taper. This kit is designed to work with inner tie rod part numbers such as Proforged 104-10374 (left side) or equivalent, and Proforged 104-10375 (right side) or equivalent. UMI’s bump steer kit features a Grade 8; 5/8-18 outer tie rod bolt, race-quality rod end, jam nuts, and locking hardware. It also includes laser-cut spacers in various sizes, a 6061-T6 Black Anodized Aluminum Adjuster Sleeve, and is compatible with factory or aftermarket spindles.
