UMI's 3-way adjustable rear sway bar controls body roll and improves cornering performance of the 2nd Gen F-body platform. Polyurethane bushings offer a quiet ride. Sway bar rate is easily tuned to achieve desired handling balance. UMI 2636 mounting plates are available for cars not originally equipped with a sway bar or if repair is required. 100% Made In USA.
1970-1973: Rear sway bars were not standard equipment, therefore frame rails do not have threaded bosses for sway bar mounting. UMI PN 2636 must be installed. Factory Z28 and Trans Am had mounting brackets welded on the chassis to allow use of some sway bars. Removal of these brackets is required and UMI PN 2636 must be installed in order to use 2634 or 2635 rear sway bars.
1974-1981: Frame rails have mounting bosses for sway bar brackets. If undamaged, these are used with UMI 2634 and 2635 rear sway bar. 2636 can be used as a repair plate if the factory threads or mounting area is damaged.

Our Sales team will either authorize or deny the request for return at its discretion. Any product returned without an issued RMA number will not be credited. All returns must be made within 30 days of delivery, be in new condition, be in original sealed packaging and include the RMA number on the outside of the packaging. No exceptions. All products and their packaging must be in new and unopened condition. Products that have been altered, installed, or modified are not returnable. All shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the customer. All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee as well as the original shipping charges that UMI Performance may have incurred while shipping your order.
