PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

UMI's A-body Anti-Roll bar is specifically designed to help your hot rod launch flat and straight off the line. Made from lightweight 1-3/8” diameter tubular steel, these bars are available in three different rates to suit your needs. The CNC-machined clamping system ensures easy and secure mounting on 3" and 3.25" diameter differential housings. For added safety, welding is recommended during installation. The double shear chassis mounts are held in place by four 3/8" fasteners and come with an exclusive reinforcement plate for extra strength.

Installation requires drilling through the crossmember; however, a template and instructions are provided to guide you through the process. The house-made hex adjuster allows for pre-loading the bar for drag applications, ensuring your car launches straight regardless of power. Available in red or black powder coat, this A-body drag bar is proudly manufactured in Philipsburg, PA, USA.

Key features of the UMI A-body Anti-Roll bar include the 1-3/8” diameter tubular design, which saves weight while providing excellent strength and roll resistance. The bar is compatible with various rear ends, including factory 10-Bolt, 12-Bolt, 9”, M9, S60, and others. Performance is further enhanced by heavy-duty ultra-premium chromoly spherical rod ends with Teflon race, high-strength 4140 chromoly zinc-plated u-bolts, and CNC-machined sway bar mounts.

The installation process is simplified with a 1” billet steel hex adjuster for extreme strength, heavy-duty machined aluminum sway bar mounts with greasable polyurethane bushings, and a durable, long-lasting powder coat finish. Designed for 100% bolt-in installation, the bar can be easily transferred between cars by changing u-bolt sizes. Axle tube diameter compatibility information is provided for various rear end manufacturers to ensure a proper fit.
