103546 – 2005-2010 Ford Mustang Rear Control Arm Kit

The S197 Mustang chassis features a 3-link rear suspension system that consists of one upper control arm, two lower control arms, and a panhard bar to manage the vehicle's rear end. The factory components can flex and suffer from rubber bushing deflection under heavy loads, which leads to poor traction and erratic handling. By replacing these stock parts with stronger, well-designed alternatives, you can eliminate this flex and enhance control and traction during launches.

Our control arm kit includes one rear upper control arm and a set of heavy-duty boxed lower control arms, all made from 1/8” wall thickness USA steel tubing. The kit features MIG welded fabrication, a glossy high-quality powder coat finish, and premium greaseable polyurethane bushings for added durability. Installation is a simple bolt-in process using factory hardware.

**Optional Spacer Kit (P/N 1058):** This kit is designed to reduce the factory Ford 16mm hole to 14mm, preventing rear suspension movement that can cause noise. The factory Ford chassis mount has a 16mm hole while using a 14mm bolt, which results in noise during acceleration and braking. The stepped spacers in this kit effectively reduce the hole size from 16mm to 14mm. Please note that the spacer kit is intended for use with the factory upper control arm mount. Most aftermarket mounts have the corrected 14mm hole for compatibility.
